The operational center is the CWWC House in Simari.
Rice or medicine? What do children need more? The answer is complicated. Actually, both, and vitamins as well. The situation of the children in the area served by CWWC is simply heartbreaking. Malnutrition, all kinds of illnesses caused by arsenic-contaminated water, neglected injuries, untreated organ damage—the list goes on. In the four clinics and health camps, efforts are being made to alleviate the suffering and make life easier for the children.
Staff costs and medications are paid for from incoming donations. The cost of medications is a persistent problem. The increasing impoverishment of the rural population means we have to distribute significantly more medications through our health clinics.
Four facilities for children: Simari, Lokhari, Rasuwara, and Charra In all of these facilities, our staff are often shocked to see the children's poor health. What's next? These facilities are insufficient. CWWC also operates sporadically and with mobile services in other locations within the Kailali district. If the budget allows and funding is available, more stations will certainly be added.
